WELCOME TO THE LITTLE CAHABA WEB PAGE

This page is designed to help you get acquainted with the Little Cahaba. The Little Cahaba River is located in Bibb County of Central Alabama. The picture to the right is of jacuzzi falls which is located about a quarter mile upstream of Bulldog bend. The Little Cahaba forms out of Shoal Creek, Six mile Creek, Dry Creek, Marbarry Creek and Mahan Creek and flows into the Big Cahaba. The picture of "help me Shoals" to the right is located a half a mile downstream of Limestone Park and has a nasty corkscrew effect on boats. In the wet season it has a very good flow with several nice drops and large standing waves, however in the summer one has to pick a path thru some of the shoals. Several local companies operate canoe rental businesses on the banks of the river and also provide shuttle and parking to customers with their own boats.
